Mylor
Mylor has a beautiful natural harbour which is home to one of the prime sailing schools in Cornwall. You can sail, kayak, windsurf, hire boats or even get one hand-built in one of our excellent boat building yards!
Walking
Exquisite walks surround us. Walk along the tree-lined creek footpaths to the thatched Pandora Inn at Restronguet or on the other side of the creek on Mylor harbourside to Flushing and take the ferry to Falmouth.
Glorious Gardens
There are many wonderful gardens in Cornwall. Garden lovers can visit Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah, which are all close by with Heligan, Eden, Trewithen, Trengwainton and Caerhays also within easy reach.
Falmouth
Falmouth has so much to offer with the beaches of Gyllingvase, Swanpool and Maenporth, its Maritime museum, the Tall Ships Race, Henri Lloyd week, Fal Oyster Festival and ferry links to St Mawes and Truro. Many galleries and artisan crafts people have made their home here following studying at Falmouth University at Tremough campus. The Garden House also offers ideal accommodation for families visiting Tremough students.
Dining
When looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal, we have our local Inn, The Lemon Arms which is a short stroll from us at The Garden House. Walk, cycle or float to the thatched Pandora Inn at Restronguet Creek, Mylor Bridge, or stroll to Mylor Harbour and it’s Castaways restaurant and Cafe Mylor. Falmouth, just a short drive has Rick Stein’s fish restaurant and many other amazing places to eat and we are sure that you find many others too!

Nowhere in Cornwall is far away from us. You can easily visit The Helford, Land’s End, The Lizard, St Michael’s Mount, St Ives or the surfing beaches of the North Coast in a day. Come and stay, make an adventure of exploring and discover your special places.
